Current Models Of Tag Heuer Watches

The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, Tag Heuer, is known for its chronographs and sports watches. It is the most desired and largest brand in luxury watch making industry. The timepieces of the brand provide most exact timing. The watch brand is in fact the first watchmaker to master chronographs with unrivaled precision of 1/1,000th, 1/100th and even 1/10th of a sec. Right from Olympics in 1920s to its position as an official timekeeper for famous Indy 500 race, with a precision at 1/10,000th of a sec, the Tag Heuer watches, in a unremitting mission for quality, modernism, esteem and performance, keeps on aiming higher.

The current lines of Tag Heuer watches include Aquaracer, Carrera, Link and Monaco. Some more recently announced models include Monaco V4 where the belts drive the movement of this watch rather than the gears; the Carrera Calibre 360, the first wrist chronograph for measuring and displaying time to 1/100th of a second; and Monaco 69. This watch has a both a digital chronograph and a mechanical movement that can provide accurate timings even the difference of milliseconds.

When it comes to Aquaracer watches, it is generally the professional divers who design them. The collection represents the brand’s historical involvement in scuba diving and other such water sports. You might have probably seen Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCapri wearing Aquaracer 500M. However, the Link collection watches measure 1/100th second movement and so reading chronograph time becomes much simpler with this.

The Modern Day Hamilton Watches

Hamilton watches have become very popular in the recent years. The Swatch Group Ltd presently owns the watch brand. The ones that are manufactured in the recent years no longer make use of the proprietary in house movements. The timepieces are made using movements that are made by the Swatch Group’s ETA.

In 1980s and 1990s, the brand started a promotional campaign, which resulted in the comeback of old Hamilton designs. The vintage styles were reappearing in the market. Hamilton actually had a portfolio of famous designs that were being manufactured in the years of 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. The brand with a motive of resurgence just replicated the many of these old but original styles and designs like the Boulton, Ardmore, Piping Rock, Cabot, Wilshire, Spur and Hamilton Ventura of 1957. These reissued Hamilton watches integrate the contemporary quartz movement that are Swiss-made.

The watch brand in the year 2007 launched unique editions of Ventura for coinciding with fiftieth anniversary of an electric timepiece. In the American market, automatic and stainless steel quartz models were launched and in the Asian marketplace, rose and yellow gold plated modern Ventura versions were launched. In both the markets, the watches were launched with a production of more than 1,000 each.

Three years before in 2009, the watch company Hamilton launched 3 new models of Ventura for celebrating Elvis Presley’s 75th birthday. This man in Blue Hawaii was seen with a Ventura. The mechanical PVD version is just an upgraded design of Ventura.

Ball Watches And Its Special Features

Ball watches have become very popular in today’s world. These watches are water resistant and can withstand cold temperature conditions. Here in this blog we will discuss about each of these aspects separately.

After the watch is manufactured, it undergoes the water resistance test where the quality of Ball watches is tested by immersing the product in the distilled water that contains a wetting agent of 1% weight and under a prescribed atmospheric pressure. They are immersed in the water for about 5 minutes. The timepieces that pass the test don’t show any sign of leakage.

The water resistance power of these products varies from one collection to the other. The Conductor and Trainmaster collections start at 30m. The Fireman and Engineer collections are 100 meters. The collection of Engineer Master Ball timepieces’ water resistance power ranges from 100m-300m. The Engineer Hydrocarbon collection starts at 300m and rises up to 1,000m for limited edition Alligator. This collection also boasts a unique crown protection system to ensure further water resistance in the rough environments.

Being manufactured with special lubrication for expedition in South and North Poles, the Ball watches feature Swiss watch oils, which provide the timepieces an operating temperature range from –40--140°F. This feature allows Engineer Hydrocarbon to accomplish its promise as a partner for Ball Explorers in their activities in the most challenging environments of the world.
